Frequently Asked Questions

Mike Parish, Sales Specialist
"No not necessarily, it depends on the condition and the age of the roof. As well as, how large of an area is leaking. Every roof should be assessed on a case by case basis."

Ron Magaziner, Sales Specialist
"I agree that individual assessment is needed for every roof. There are any aspects of a roof that with age and weathering can result in a leak. For example, the flashing that surrounds chimneys, or other roof penetrating structures like vent pipes, vent caps and exhaust fan assembles will often come loose due to constant exposure to the elements. When this occurs hard rain sometime driven by wind can seep into these loose areas and ultimately create a noticeable leak. In many of these cases the loose flashing can be repaired without the need to replace an entire roof. At Crown Remodeling, we are always looking for the most cost effective way to preserve your roof and your home."
